I’ve grown up with the automation pyramid which I thought was useful when talking about process automation. But there is no one definition of it and Wikipedia only shows me a German and Swedish entry.
What is on the y-axis? Because depending on what you see it may be an upside-down pyramid. Or it may be a box. Alternatively, it could be not a pyramid at all but a circle.
And if the y-axis are people (or ants) working on different layers, it could depend on the maturity of automation.
Oh.. and I remember a meeting between a automation vendor and user that went on for several hours until it was discovered that the vendor started counting at 0 and the user at 1. Talking about Level 3 meant different things entirely.
